HENRY RAVELO

company president

An accomplished actor in his own right, Henry Ravelo appeared in the original production of MISS SAIGON on Broadway, First National & Canadian Premier. Other credits include Henri in the National Tour of SOUTH PACIFIC with Robert Goulet and Luke in ANYTHING GOES with Mitzi Gaynor. On TV, he pleaded with Brooke on ALL MY CHILDREN, plotted with Asa on ONE LIFE TO LIVE, commanded the Spaulding yacht on THE GUIDING LIGHT & photographed Laura on LOVING thereby making him the first person of color to act in all the daytime dramas shot in NY at the time. On primetime, he kidnapped the wrong child on THE EQUALIZER on CBS (the original). And on Film, he played Alberto on MASQUERADE with Rob Lowe but ended up on the cutting room floor when he played a ballet dancer on Brian De Palma's CARLITO'S WAY with Al Pacino.

He is a respected leader in the LGBTQ+ community; recognized for his fight for equality, acceptance and representation in the media. He made history several times over with his work in expanding the careers of many of the top queens of RuPaul's Drag Race into acting roles on Television, Film, Broadway & Voice-Overs as well as being one of the first to represent top Transgender Talent on shows like Ryan Murphy's POSE & beyond. In the early 80's when the AIDS epidemic first hit, he began producing fundraisers raise money for awareness, research & care for those stricken with the disease.

His move into Management came at the height of the High Fashion era; serving on the Men's Board of the agency that created the 1st male supermodel. With his background in Acting, he quickly rose to Entertainment Director; becoming the go-to guy for models who wanted to diversify. His expertise guided several clients; advancing their careers in series Television and Film.

As a Master Audition Coach, he is proud to have worked with many award-winning actors, and nominees. An intriguing fact: Henry also served as Audition Coach for the winners of Miss Universe, Miss USA & Miss Teen USA; oddly enough, under the ownership of the man who was to become the 45th president of the United States.

Through it all, the more rewarding moments in Henry's career lie in the times he is able to share the magic of this amazing Industry with others. Forever grateful for the opportunities that came his way, Henry continues to share his gifts with others by producing live, linear and digital projects, promoting corporate brands by partnering with Celebrity Creators and guiding developing Talent through his podcast, Make $ Acting.
